“ Never fails to satisfy. A few drinks during happy hour..bargain and delicious food from the 2 meals for 17 menu. Cheeseburger to die for. Tasted just like a steak and as always, best homemade chips ever. Fantastic staff and the service is second to none ”
“ Found this pub by accident, but it is lovely place for meals. They do home made food as well as lots of other choices. The pub looks like a traditional place from the outside, but is very large once you get inside. A small note of caution, is to register your car on their system as soon as you arrive,if parking in the carpark of the pub. ”
“ We was recommended this pub for food as I am Coeliac and was told they catered gluten free. Like all places I'm sceptical about this, but on viewing the menu I was shocked at the amount on offer. If you are visiting the area and stuck, then I would recommend this establishment. Also for the money the portions are not so small so worth it. ”
“ This place is a breath of fresh air. A very clean well kept pub/restaurant. Alot of thought has gone into making your visit really pleasent. The beers, largers etc are very well kept. Rang and booked a Sunday carvery for 12.30, arrived to a friendly welcome and shown to a table, waited a short while and told when to go for carvery, you told the people behind the serving counter what you wanted and the selection was very good and of the belly busting type. You have a choice of meats, 1/2 or three and are really generous but beware the beef has been on occasions very tough so much so people have left on the plate or asked for a sharper knife. The staff are well informed, courteous and friendly. Ordering drinks was made very easy. The food was of a excellent quality. Meals throughout the week are worth a visit too. Evening time bingo etc are on. A small Car park outside. Excellent value, A very pleasant atmosphere and experience and will certainly go again.update Oct 2022 the last three visits we found the beef to be most excellent, even able to shred easily. ”
“ The best pub in the area! Friendly and helpful staff and the food is always amazing!! Proper home made food which is always 10/10. We go most weeks and wouldn’t go anywhere else now, such a welcoming and family oriented pub. Definitely a 10/10 :) x ”
“ Good parking. Excellent food especially the home made selection. We chose lasagna and shepherds pie. Both were delicious. Pudding was equally good. ”
“ Bit disappointed tonight, was their for birthday party meal, 9 people, wasn't busy in the restaurant but we waited ages for the food, there were diabetics with us that started to flag with the wait of the food, however when it arrived it was as gorgeous as every, the one thing that would make the meals better were the choice of 2 veg, instead of just peas, mushy peas or beans, puddings as gorgeous as ever, and entertainment brilliant, bingo great. The staff all work very hard and are always at your call when needed, but brilliant night apart from wait for food. ”
“ Visited the Trafalga Inn several times over the years. Always made very welcome. Food is good and a good choice of drinks from behind the bar. We have stayed over in the car park in our motorhome and in front of the owners properly across the road in our campervan. Hope to return again soon. ”
